What we collect
- Account details: name, email address, phone number and password credentials held by our authentication provider.
- Booking details: service, date, time, address, postcode, notes, price, status and booking reference.
- Reviews you choose to publish after a completed appointment.
- Live chat messages, including the name you give in the chat.
- Technical data such as browser type, collected by hosting and, where enabled, analytics.
Why we use it
- To create your account and provide the online booking you request. The legal basis is the contract.
- To keep appointment records, deal with complaints, and protect the website from misuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a cleaning business.
- To display a review you submit. The legal basis is the contract and our legitimate interest in showing genuine customer feedback. Your review shows the name on your account.
- To reply to live chat. The legal basis is your request and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for automated decisions that produce legal effects.
Who processes it
The website is hosted on Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Hosting and Analytics). Google processes this information for us. Firebase may store data outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, we rely on the provider’s international transfer safeguards, including the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses where applicable.
How long we keep it
- Booking records: 6 years from the appointment, for tax, accounting and complaint records.
- Account details: until you ask us to delete the account, unless we still need the related booking record.
- Published reviews: until you ask us to remove them or we remove them under our terms.
- Live chat: 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, a correction, deletion, restriction, or transfer, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email mstfpalo@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies and storage
The site stores an essential login session in your browser so you can stay signed in, and a chat reference so the conversation can continue. These are required for the account, booking and chat features. If analytics is active, Google Analytics uses cookies to understand visits. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block cookies in your browser; the booking account will then not stay signed in.
